- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Los Angeles Youth Club
- 1993 to 2002
- English
For nine years I ran the rowing program at Los Angeles Youth Club in Los Angeles. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Coach Rowan
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
