Coach Rowan
Youth wrestling coach and mentor

I've coached wrestling at San Jose St. Mary's Athletic Club since 1994. Most of my players were between 10 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
What gifts mean to Coach Rowan: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

you coached me in 2010. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from San Jose.
