Coach Rotimi
Youth volleyball coach and mentor
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Lagos Boxing Gym
- 1991 to 2020
- English, Igbo
I coached volleyball at Lagos Boxing Gym from 1991 to 2020. Most of my players were between 8 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I fix old bicycles.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Coach Rotimi: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
