Coach Rotimi

Youth rowing coach and mentor

  • 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
  • Atlas Community Club
  • 1990 to 2024
  • English, Igbo
For 34 years I ran the rowing program at Atlas Community Club in Lagos. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather. My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Coach Rotimi: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
