Coach Ronke

Cross country coach, Rosewood Swimming Club

  • 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
  • Rosewood Swimming Club
  • 1978 to 2007
  • English, Igbo
I'm a cross country coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 1,570 kids fall in love with the game. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.

More about Coach Ronke

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
