I coached cricket at Kano Meadowbank Boxing Gym from 1996 to 2017. Most of my players were between 11 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I walk the dog by the river.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Coach Ronke: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
