Coach Ronaldo
Youth cross country coach and mentor
- 🇧🇷 São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil
- São Paulo Eastgate Community Club
- Since 1991
- English, Portuguese
I've coached cross country at São Paulo Eastgate Community Club since 1991. Most of my players were between 10 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I play music while people worked.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Ronaldo
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Coach Ronaldo: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
