Coach Roberto
Coached badminton for 19 years in Padua
- 🇮🇹 Padua, Veneto, Italy
- Padua Football Club
- 1981 to 2000
- English, Italian
For 19 years I ran the badminton program at Padua Football Club in Padua. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Coach Roberto: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

You coached me in 2023. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Shinjuku.
