Coach Robert
Swimming coach, San Diego Football Club
- 🇺🇸 San Diego, California, United States
- San Diego Football Club
- Since 2008
- English
I've coached swimming at San Diego Football Club since 2008. Most of my players were between 9 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
More about Coach Robert
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Robert: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.

I still think about the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Jinja.
