Coach Robel
Youth baseball coach and mentor
- 🇪🇹 Jimma, Oromia, Ethiopia
- Jimma Rosewood Sports Club
- 1999 to 2023
- English, Amharic
I coached baseball at Jimma Rosewood Sports Club from 1999 to 2023. Most of my players were between 10 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week.
More about Coach Robel
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
