Coach Rina
Youth chess coach and mentor
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Kingsway Swimming Club
- 1982 to 2012
- English, Bengali
For 30 years I ran the chess program at Kingsway Swimming Club in Dhaka. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Coach Rina
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Rina: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
