Coach Riley
Youth athletics coach and mentor
- 🇨🇦 Toronto, Ontario, Canada
- Toronto Community Club
- Since 1986
- English
I've coached athletics at Toronto Community Club since 1986. Most of my players were between 10 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Coach Riley
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Riley: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
