I've coached softball at St. Mary's Athletic Club since 2008. Most of my players were between 11 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I run most mornings.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Coach Ricardo: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
