Coach Regina
Youth wrestling coach and mentor
- 🇲🇽 San Nicolás de los Garza, Nuevo León, Mexico
- Starlight Athletic Club
- 2000 to 2025
- Spanish, English
For 25 years I ran the wrestling program at Starlight Athletic Club in San Nicolás de los Garza. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I sing in a choir.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Coach Regina: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.

I still think about the long bus ride home. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Setagaya.
