Coach Raimundo
Baseball coach, Petrópolis Youth Club
- 🇧🇷 Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- Petrópolis Youth Club
- 1991 to 2023
- Portuguese
I coached baseball at Petrópolis Youth Club from 1991 to 2023. Most of my players were between 10 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Coach Raimundo
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Raimundo: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

I still think about the day we all got the giggles in assembly. Best summer of my life! Greetings from Barcelona.
