Coach Rahima
Coached chess for 15 years in Dhaka
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Dhaka Community Club
- 1992 to 2007
- English, Bengali
For 15 years I ran the chess program at Dhaka Community Club in Dhaka. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never once raised my voice.
More about Coach Rahima
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Rahima: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
