Coach Rafael

Youth wrestling coach and mentor

  • 🇲🇽 Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico
  • Zapopan Boxing Gym
  • 1996 to 2025
  • Spanish
For 29 years I ran the wrestling program at Zapopan Boxing Gym in Zapopan. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather. My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.

What gifts mean to Coach Rafael: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You coached me in 2008. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Santa Fe.
