I coached chess at Birmingham Community Club from 1998 to 2010. Most of my players were between 8 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

What gifts mean to Coach Priya: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
