I coached badminton at Khon Kaen Athletic Club from 2015 to 2024. Most of my players were between 11 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Coach Ploy
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Ploy: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
