I'm a chess coach. I never went pro, but I get to see 460 kids fall in love with the game.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turn anyone away.
More about Coach Pilar
If you played for me, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.

What gifts mean to Coach Pilar: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
