I've coached rugby at Rome Frangipani Swimming Club since 2005. Most of my players were between 12 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Coach Pietro
If you played for me, you probably remember the quiz night we nearly won.
What gifts mean to Coach Pietro: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
