Coach Phúc
Coached basketball for 39 years in Oakland
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- Stonebridge Swimming Club
- Since 1987
- English, Vietnamese
I've coached basketball at Stonebridge Swimming Club since 1987. Most of my players were between 9 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I run most mornings.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Coach Phúc
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Phúc: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
