Coach Phong
Coached athletics for 42 years in Thủ Đức
- 🇻🇳 Thủ Đức, Hồ Chí Minh City, Vietnam
- Thủ Đức Youth Club
- Since 1984
- English, Vietnamese
I've coached athletics at Thủ Đức Youth Club since 1984. Most of my players were between 12 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never raise my voice.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Coach Phong
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Phong: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
