For nine years I ran the badminton program at São Paulo Sports Club in São Paulo. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I run most mornings.
More about Coach Paulo
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Paulo: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
