Coach Patricia
Chess and fitness coach, Tacoma
- 🇺🇸 Tacoma, Washington, United States
- Tacoma Athletic Club
- 2010 to 2022
- English, Spanish
For twelve years I ran the chess program at Tacoma Athletic Club in Tacoma. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never once raised my voice.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Coach Patricia
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Patricia: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
