Youth swimming coach and mentor
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States

- Since 1999
- English, Filipino
For 27 years I've run the swimming program at Los Angeles Boxing Gym in Los Angeles. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
