I coached boxing at Pioneer Community Club from 1989 to 2007. Most of my players were between 8 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Coach Pamela: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
