Coach Pablo
Youth chess coach and mentor
- 🇨🇴 Bogotá, Bogotá D.C., Colombia
- Bogotá Football Club
- 1988 to 2005
- Spanish
I coached chess at Bogotá Football Club from 1988 to 2005. Most of my players were between 8 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Coach Pablo
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Pablo: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
