Coach Pablo
Youth chess coach and mentor
- 🇺🇸 Orlando, Florida, United States
- Orlando Swimming Club
- Since 1998
- English, Spanish
I've coached chess at Orlando Swimming Club since 1998. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Coach Pablo
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Pablo: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
