Coach Owen
Chess and fitness coach, Belfast
- 🇬🇧 Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom
- Belfast Heritage Athletic Club
- 2008 to 2024
- English
I coached chess at Belfast Heritage Athletic Club from 2008 to 2024. Most of my players were between 9 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm learning the guitar.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Coach Owen
If you played for me, you probably remember the end-of-term party.
What gifts mean to Coach Owen: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
