Coach Óscar
Coached badminton for 23 years in St. Petersburg
- 🇺🇸 St. Petersburg, Florida, United States
- St. Mary's Youth Club
- 2001 to 2024

For 23 years I ran the badminton program at St. Mary's Youth Club in St. Petersburg. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Coach Óscar
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Óscar: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
