Coach Omolara
Coached athletics for eight years in Ibadan
- 🇳🇬 Ibadan, Oyo, Nigeria
- 2017 to 2025
- English
For eight years I ran the athletics program at Ibadan Silverlake Football Club in Ibadan. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Coach Omolara
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Omolara: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
