Coach Olumide
Youth softball coach and mentor
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Lagos Gateway Sports Club
- Since 1993
- English, Igbo
I've coached softball at Lagos Gateway Sports Club since 1993. Most of my players were between 10 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Coach Olumide
If you played for me, you probably remember that terrible school play.
What gifts mean to Coach Olumide: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
