Coach Okta
Youth badminton coach and mentor
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta Selatan, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Jakarta Selatan Westbrook Community Club
- Since 1986
- English
For 40 years I've run the badminton program at Jakarta Selatan Westbrook Community Club in Jakarta Selatan. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
What gifts mean to Coach Okta: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
