Coach Ochieng

Youth cycling coach and mentor

  • 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
  • Dar es Salaam Sports Club
  • Since 1979
  • English
I've coached cycling at Dar es Salaam Sports Club since 1979. Most of my players were between 11 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.

More about Coach Ochieng

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Coach Ochieng: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
