Coach Obiageli

Cross country and fitness coach, Lagos

  • 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
  • Lagos Lotus Youth Club
  • Since 1990
  • English, Igbo
I've coached cross country at Lagos Lotus Youth Club since 1990. Most of my players were between 11 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I run most mornings. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Coach Obiageli

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
