Coach Nyambura
Coached football for 35 years in Nairobi
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Nairobi Community Club
- Since 1991
- English, Swahili
I've coached football at Nairobi Community Club since 1991. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I'm still learning every day.
What gifts mean to Coach Nyambura: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
