Coach Nuwan
Coached rowing for 21 years in Jaffna
- 🇱🇰 Jaffna, Northern, Sri Lanka
- Jaffna Sports Club
- Since 2005
- English, Sinhala, Spanish
I've coached rowing at Jaffna Sports Club since 2005. Most of my players were between 8 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Coach Nuwan
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Nuwan: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
