Coach Nuria
Chess coach, Girona Gateway Football Club
- 🇪🇸 Girona, Catalonia, Spain
- Since 1992
- English, Spanish
I've coached chess at Girona Gateway Football Club since 1992. Most of my players were between 9 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
More about Coach Nuria
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Nuria: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
