Coach Nonso

Youth wrestling coach and mentor

  • 🇳🇬 Gwagwalada, Abuja FCT, Nigeria
  • Gwagwalada Riverside Football Club
  • 2017 to 2025
  • English
For eight years I ran the wrestling program at Gwagwalada Riverside Football Club in Gwagwalada. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I walk the dog by the river. I'm still learning every day.

More about Coach Nonso

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Nonso: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
