Coach Nokuthula
Softball coach, Redwood Youth Club
- 🇿🇦 Sandton, Gauteng, South Africa
- Redwood Youth Club
- Since 1982
- English, Afrikaans
For 44 years I've run the softball program at Redwood Youth Club in Sandton. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm always reading two books at once.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

If you played for me, you probably remember the end-of-term party.
What gifts mean to Coach Nokuthula: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
