Coach Njoroge
Youth cricket coach and mentor
- 🇰🇪 Thika, Kiambu, Kenya
- Thika Summit Swimming Club
- Since 2009
- English, Swahili
I've coached cricket at Thika Summit Swimming Club since 2009. Most of my players were between 12 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I garden badly but happily.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Njoroge: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
