Coach Nikhil
Youth baseball coach and mentor
- 🇮🇳 Howrah, West Bengal, India
- Howrah Youth Club
- 1991 to 2004
- English, Hindi
For 13 years I ran the baseball program at Howrah Youth Club in Howrah. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Coach Nikhil
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Nikhil: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You coached me in 2012. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Tiruchirappalli.
