For nine years I ran the badminton program at Hồ Chí Minh City Boxing Gym in Hồ Chí Minh City. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Coach Ngọc: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
