Coach Naveen
Youth hockey coach and mentor
- 🇮🇳 Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India
- Frangipani Boxing Gym
- Since 1998
- English, Hindi
I've coached hockey at Frangipani Boxing Gym since 1998. Most of my players were between 10 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
More about Coach Naveen
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Naveen: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
