I coached tennis at Chennai Youth Club from 1985 to 2004. Most of my players were between 8 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.

What gifts mean to Coach Naresh: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
