Coach Nancy
Rowing and fitness coach, Tamale
- 🇬🇭 Tamale, Northern, Ghana
- Tamale Atlas Sports Club
- Since 2002
- English
I've coached rowing at Tamale Atlas Sports Club since 2002. Most of my players were between 10 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Coach Nancy
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Nancy: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
