Coach Nabil
Coached chess for 34 years in Shubra
- 🇪🇬 Shubra, Cairo, Egypt

- English, Arabic
For 34 years I've run the chess program at Mount Pleasant Athletic Club in Shubra. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.

If you played for me, you probably remember the long bus ride home.

I still think about the quiz night we nearly won. Best summer of my life! Greetings from Jessore.
