Coach Mwende
Youth hockey coach and mentor
- 🇰🇪 Naivasha, Nakuru, Kenya
- Naivasha Athletic Club
- Since 1998
- English
For 28 years I've run the hockey program at Naivasha Athletic Club in Naivasha. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answer every email, even at midnight.
More about Coach Mwende
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Mwende: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
