Coach Mwangi
Youth netball coach and mentor
- 🇰🇪 Kikuyu, Kiambu, Kenya
- Kikuyu Boxing Gym
- Since 1985
- English
I've coached netball at Kikuyu Boxing Gym since 1985. Most of my players were between 9 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
More about Coach Mwangi
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Mwangi: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
